Coronavirus: Europe’s second wave puts hospitals under pressure again as cases soar

The number of cases has been increasing again in Europe as winter approaches, rising from a reduction in infections and deaths from March to April 2020. The average number of cases reported during the week ending November 10 was part of a wave that started in late October.
