Coronavirus: Merck says deal with Singapore signed; South Korea soon to inoculate pregnant women

Merck on Wednesday announced it had entered into an agreement with Singapore to provide molnupiravir, an investigational antiviral drug to treat Covid-19, once it is authorised or approved.Molnupiravir is designed to introduce errors into the genetic code of the virus and would be the first oral antiviral medication for Covid-19.
