Belgian police fire water cannon, tear gas at Covid-19 rule protesters

Police fired water cannon and thick clouds of tear gas in Brussels on Sunday to disperse demonstrators protesting against Covid-19 vaccinations and restrictions that aim to curb the fast-spreading Omicron variant.The rally drew about 50,000 people, Belgian police said.
