The queue was so long, I had to drive 30km away to get a test. There is rising panic over the response to the outbreak – and it feels like we’re being picked on

I was at work when Gladys Berejiklian announced that everyone who works in Fairfield local government area would have to get Covid-19 tested every three days if they worked outside of it.

I was at work in my healthcare job, which is 30km away from my home in Fairfield.
