Queensland has reintroduced Covid-19 restrictions in response to community cases detected in the state. The new restrictions commence 1am Tuesday, 29 June, and will be in place for at least two weeks. Reduced capacity limits and the reintroduction of masks in several local-government areas in south-east Queensland are “absolutely vital” steps in containing the spread of the Delta variant of Covid-19, premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has said.
