The health secretary has announced a partial easing of coronavirus restrictions in Leicester. From 24 July, restrictions on schools and early years childcare will be lifted, but pubs, restaurants, bars and other parts of the hospitality sector will remain closed in the city. Restrictions on travel, as well as only meeting up to six people, will also remain in place
