Vietnam cracks down on illegal entries from China as Covid-19 cases flare up

Vietnam has tightened its clampdown on the illegal entry of Chinese citizens as it races to bring a fresh Covid-19 outbreak under control, having previously gone three months without detected community transmissions.There were 43 new cases reported on Wednesday and four more on Thursday, bringing Vietnam’s total to 717 cases.
