With the spread of COVID-19, the world is facing an unprecedented economic, social and political crisis. Medical tourism sector in Korea is no exception. Longstanding healthcare disparity,however, between different countries & ethnic groups emerged more vividly during this pandemic and calls for international cooperation and new role of medical tourism.
Responding to the challenges & the obligation of Korean medical tourism in the COVID-19 era, we will address the new issues Korean healthcare sectors need to prepare and discuss future plans.
