Rise in Domestic Abuse Cases During Lockdown
Apr.22 — World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus comments on the rise of domestic abuse during the coronavirus lockdown. "Women in abusive relationships are more likely to be exposed to violence, as are their children, as family members spend more time in close contact," the WHO chief said at a press briefing in Geneva on April 3.
