35-year-old Singaporean on stay-home notice charged with leaving facility for nine days
A 35-year-old Singaporean has been charged with having left her hotel for over a week while on a 14-day stay-home notice (SHN). If convicted, she faces up to six months' jail or a maximum fine of S$10,000, or both. Rameswari Devi Jairaj Singh returned from Johor Bahru on April 30. She began serving her SHN in a hotel in Novena. However, she allegedly left the hotel on May 4 and returned only on May 12.
