COVID-19: 10,000 households to benefit from CDAC education grant

10,000 low-income households in the Chinese community will benefit from a new education grant to be handed out by the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC). From May, S$300 will be disbursed to these households with young children or those in schools. And from June, 5,000 post-secondary students will also get S$720. The money will come from a S$5-million government grant to help vulnerable groups cope with the impact of COVID-19.
