COVID-19: 22-year-old Singaporean charged with breaching quarantine order shortly before it ended



A 22-year-old Singaporean man has been charged in court for breaching his quarantine order just half an hour before it expired. Tay Chun Hsien was ordered to stay home from March 19 until noon on March 22. But with 30 minutes to go, he allegedly went out for breakfast at a neighbourhood shopping mall. Tay said he intends to plead guilty. He faces up to six months' jail and/or a fine of up to $10,000.
