COVID-19: 6 weeks’ jail for man who breached SHN to eat bak kut teh
A man who went out to eat bak kut teh while on a Stay-Home Notice has become the first person in Singapore to be sentenced for a COVID-19-related offence. Thirty-four-year-old Alan Tham Xiang Sheng will be jailed for six weeks, after exposing others to the risk of infection during a four-hour period.
