COVID-19: American pilot to plead guilty to breaching stay-home notice
An American commercial pilot accused of breaching his stay-home order while in Singapore is expected to plead guilty. 44-year-old Brian Dugan Yeargan allegedly left Crowne Plaza Changi Airport to take a train to City Hall and walked to Chinatown Point to buy personal items. Two Singaporeans — 47-year-old Chong Chun Wah and 25-year-old Siti Wan Su'Aidah — also appeared in court on April 21 for similar offences, after allegedly leaving their homes while on stay-home notices. Each offence carries a fine of up to S$10,000, and a jail term of up to six months.
