COVID-19 circuit breaker: Grab to extend driver assistance until June 1

With Singapore's circuit breaker period extended to June 1, Grab said it will extend its assistance to drivers till then. The support measures include commission reductions, paid medical leave, as well as income and rental waiver support for those being quarantined. However, it added that it may be unable to continue doing so, should circuit breaker measures be further extended. In a letter to drivers on April 29, Grab said it funded this round of financial assistance by moving funds from other driver benefits. It also matched donations made by Grab employees dollar-for-dollar.
