COVID-19 circuit breaker: June school holidays brought forward to May 5, classes to resume on June 2
In line with the extension of the circuit breaker period until June 1, schools will bring forward the mid-year holidays. The Education Ministry said this will apply to students from primary to pre-university levels, as well as children in MOE kindergartens and special education schools. For these students, the June holidays will now begin on May 5, and lessons will resume on June 2. The mid-year O- and A-Level Mother Tongue Language exams — scheduled to be held in June and July — will also be postponed for about one or two weeks.
