More than 1,000 migrant workers with COVID-19 are receiving round-the-clock medical attention with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). They can send a message via a WhatsApp chatbot in one of five languages. If their vital signs — including temperature and heart rate — do not look right, the AI sends SMS alerts to a team of doctors, and a video consultation is initiated.
