COVID-19: Singapore cautious in using steroids to treat severely-ill patients

Singapore will be prudent in its use of steroids to treat COVID-19 patients and it is only for those with severe illness. This comes after a UK study found that an existing steroid called dexamethasone cut death rates in very sick COVID-19 patients by around a third.
