Govt will act further to support businesses, households if situation warrants: Heng Swee Keat

Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat echoed the Monetary Authority of Singapore's assessment that the economic downturn will be more severe, should the COVID-19 pandemic be prolonged. In a Facebook post, Mr Heng, who is also Finance Minister, said the government is monitoring the situation closely, and will act to further support businesses and households, if the situation warrants it.
