Hairdressers, standalone F&B outlets to close as Singapore tightens circuit breaker measures
More shops will be closed after the Singapore government tightened the list of essential services as it extended its circuit breaker on April 21. Less critical consumer services like hairdressing and barber shops must shut. Standalone F&B outlets that sell only drinks, packaged snacks and desserts will also not be allowed to open. From April 22, those going to shopping malls and supermarkets must also give their particulars for contact tracing. Businesses that were given exemptions to open during the circuit breaker can remain open until June 1.
