Most Singaporeans complied with COVID-19 circuit breaker measures: REACH poll

Even before the wearing of masks was made mandatory, close to 90% of people in Singapore said they were putting them on when going out. A survey by government feedback unit REACH revealed the sentiment towards the circuit breaker measures. More than 80% also said they will consciously keep a safe distance from others when they are out. While the majority are coping well, nearly 20% felt impacted by the measures and had difficulty coping. Their concerns centred around movement restrictions, financial constraints due to loss of income, and work disruptions.
