Muslims in Indonesia mark Ramadan amid unprecedented COVID-19 lockdown
Muslims across the world are marking their first Ramadan in the time of the coronavirus. For the first time, millions will have to observe social distancing measures during the fasting month. Indonesia, which has the world's biggest Muslim population, has shut most mosques and urged its people to pray at home instead. In a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19, President Joko Widodo had also banned people from returning to their hometowns ahead of Ramadan.
