Nanyang Polytechnic launches new teaching model to develop students’ workplace skills

Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) will progressively launch a new teaching model aimed at developing workplace skills, starting from its 2021 intake. Under the new model, students will take "competency units" that focus on the skills they need to complete work projects. NYP said it's a first-of-its-kind model in Singapore, which was developed together with IT leaders like Google Cloud.
