NEA calls for urgent community action against dengue as cases set to exceed 16,000 this year

The National Environment Agency (NEA) has called for urgent community action against dengue, as it warns that cases could exceed 2019's tally of 16,000. Since the start of 2020, there have been nearly 5,800 dengue cases — more than double over the same period last year. Weekly cases remain high, hovering around 300 to 400. Currently, there are over 100 active clusters.
