New COVID-19 infections among Singapore residents, PRs on a downward trend

Even as Singapore's daily tally of COVID-19 cases hit a new record, infections among Singaporeans and permanent residents have dipped below 30 since April 16. That's in contrast to the 38 cases at the start of the month-long circuit breaker on April 7. This spiked to 53 the next day, which remains the highest daily number since then.
