Singapore GE2020: Three-cornered fights likely in at least four constituencies
For Singapore's coming general election, three-cornered fights are looking likely in at least four constituencies. The new single-seat ward of Punggol West is one of six wards that the Workers' Party plans to contest, setting up a clash with the Peoples Voice (PV) party. PV chief Lim Tean announced the party is now looking at five constituencies, including Jalan Besar and Pasir-Ris Punggol GRCs, as well as Pioneer and Mountbatten SMCs. The Singapore Democratic Alliance has been active in Pasir-Ris Punggol GRC, and the Progress Singapore Party has indicated its interest in Pioneer SMC.
