Singaporeans donated record high of S$13.6 million on Giving.sg website in April

Singapore residents donated a record high of almost S$14 million to various causes since the start of April. The spike in donations comes after the S$600 Solidarity Payment to all citizens on 14 April. Traffic to the Giving.sg donation website peaked three days after the payout, hitting over 10 times its daily average. The National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre said total donations to date exceeded S$22 million — the highest in the past five years since the website was launched.
