Singtel and StarHub-M1 joint venture win bids to roll out two nationwide 5G networks

Singapore's three biggest telcos have won bids to roll out two 5G networks. The winners are Singtel and a joint venture between StarHub and M1. The Infocomm and Media Development Authority (IMDA) said forging ahead with 5G will allow businesses to quickly ride on digital infrastructure after the COVID-19 pandemic. IMDA added that two 5G networks were rolled out in the initial years to keep competition sustainable.
