Shanghai Disneyland to reopen as Walt Disney Co announces 90% profit hit from coronavirus pandemic

While most of the amusement park’s rides and attractions that were closed since January 25 will resume, parades and interactions with characters of “cast members” will continue to be suspended to avoid large group gatherings which could spread Covid-19.China’s government has said tourist attractions may reopen in the country as long as visitor numbers are limited to 30 per cent of capacity. Theme park operator The Walt Disney Company has been hit hard by the global pandemic.
